As we approach one of the most cherished weekends in American sports, I wanted to take a moment to share some thoughts on a tradition that means so much to many of us here at Consortium Solution Enterprises. Of course, I am talking about the legendary Army-Navy football game.
More Than Just a Game
For over 125 years, the Army-Navy game has been more than a football rivalry. It is a celebration of everything our service academies represent: leadership, sacrifice, teamwork, and an unshakeable commitment to something greater than ourselves. When those cadets and midshipmen take the field, they are not just playing for a trophy. They are representing generations of men and women who have answered the call to serve.
As a proud Navy veteran, I can tell you that my years at the Naval Academy and my time serving our country shaped who I am today. The lessons I learned about leadership, integrity, and putting the mission first are the same principles we bring to CS3 EGS every single day.
At CS3 EGS, we are honored to work alongside the Department of Defense and support the incredible professionals who keep our nation safe. Many members of our consortium family are veterans themselves, and this game resonates deeply with all of us.
What Makes This Rivalry Special
I have had the privilege of attending many Army-Navy games over the years, and there is truly nothing like it. The pageantry, the mutual respect between the academies, and the knowledge that every player on that field will soon be leading our nation's finest. It gives you chills every single time.
What I love most is the sportsmanship. Yes, it is an intense rivalry, but at the end of the day, these young men and women will serve side by side, protecting the same flag and the same freedoms. That mutual respect is visible in every handshake, every salute, and every moment of the game.
